Electronic ID
Electronic ID is a central part of electronic trade and communication, and shall secure correct identification of persons or enterprises as well as electronic signing of documents. By using electronic ID, several services can be adjusted to electronic treatment and document exchange.
BBS offers several ID services (electronic ID), all developed according to international standards, laws and regulations, and are adjusted to a various range of use. The ID can be issued to enterprises and persons, both employees ID and personal ID. BBS offers qualified and non-qualified certificates. The customer may choose whether the ID shall be stored on smartcard, SIM, other electronic storage media or locally on the computer.
Electronic ID can be used for identification towards another person or system, secure exchange of electronic information between parties or electronic signing of legal binding agreements.
Electronic identification opens for access to services demanding a high security level. By using BBS’ solutions, the enterprise may secure identification of users on internet, and do not need to run its own solutions. The same ID can be reused on various merchants.
The solution is adjusted to different electronic IDs from multiple vendors. Order and administration can be performed through standardized interfaces, either by use of administration equipment developed by BBS, or clients developed by the customer.
The ID-services are based on a proven and secure technology, and are issued and operated by BBS.
